The Company: Nationwide Fire and Security company with over 20 years of industry experience, providing solutions to commercial, private, public, residential, and retail markets. Due to expansion, they are now seeking additional Fire Alarm Service Engineers.

As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, your package could include:

• Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 basic DOE
• Travel time paid after 30 minutes each way
• Overtime rate: time and a half, double time on Sundays and Bank Holidays
• Call-out rota: 1 in 6 days, with standby rates of £182 a week
• Call-out paid flat rate for the first 4 hours; anything after is paid at time and a half
• Company van

Main responsibilities:

• Servicing, PPM, and technical support of Fire Alarm Systems
• Managing your own time to ensure jobs are completed correctly

Knowledge and experience required:

• At least 3 years of experience servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm Systems
• Working to BS5839 Standards
• FIA or equivalent training is highly desirable
• Experience in installation and commissioning of Fire Alarm Systems is a plus but not essential
• 18th Edition, NVQ, CITY and Guilds, or BTEC qualifications are desirable but not essential
• Experience working across sectors: Commercial, Industrial, Residential, Private, and Public
