Quintessential Brands UK Group Ltd. in Carlisle is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to service, maintain, fault-find and respond to calls on fire and life safety systems.

The role emphasizes compliance with standards and delivering excellent customer service on-site. You will carry out planned maintenance, diagnose faults, and provide on-site guidance while ensuring safety and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in servicing and fault finding on fire alarm systems.
• Experience attending and resolving reactive service calls.
• Knowledge of door access control systems is a plus.
• Experience servicing and maintaining emergency lighting systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems.
• Respond to reactive call-outs, diagnose faults, and complete repairs efficiently.
• Service and maintain door access control systems.
• Carry out servicing and fault finding on emergency lighting systems.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current industry regulations and company procedures.
• Produce accurate service reports and maintain records of completed works.
• Provide professional support and advice to customers on-site.
• Liaise with colleagues and customers to ensure timely completion of service activities.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
