SER Limited is seeking a Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer to service and maintain fire alarm systems across commercial properties in the Peterborough and Northampton region. You will fault-find, test, and ensure compliance with industry standards while delivering professional client support.

With a competitive £38,000–£42,000 DOE salary, the role includes a company van (personal use), travel time paid after 30 minutes, and a comprehensive benefits package, including private healthcare

Fire Alarm Service & Maintenance Engineer

Peterborough & Northampton Area

£38,000 - £42,000 DOE

About the Company

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly successful and well-established Fire & Security company with an outstanding reputation built on decades of industry expertise. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are looking to add an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to their team.

The Role

As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems across a range of commercial properties throughout the Peterborough and Northampton region.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and fault-find on a variety of fire alarm systems
• Work with industry-leading manufacturers including Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and Apollo
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with relevant regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service and technical support to clients
• Accurately complete service documentation and reports

Requirements

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems
• Good working knowledge of systems such as Advanced, Morley, Kentec, and Apollo
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK Driving Licence
