Defensor is a well-respected independent life safety systems company specialising in the design, installation, maintenance and commissioning of fire detection & alarm systems, gas suppression, aspiration & disabled systems.

Celebrating our 28th year as an independent company, we are looking for highly skilled and motivated life safety systems engineers to join our close-knit & friendly team.

The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable with proven competency, great people skills, and someone who is passionate about the fire alarm industry and can become an asset to our business and help us to grow further.

Experience in Gent & Notifier is preferable although not essential if competency in other addressable systems can be demonstrated. We have our own Training Centre and ongoing development training is offered.

The role is a mix of maintenance, fault-finding, and commissioning as required. You will participate in a stand-by rota for out-of-hours emergency call-outs.

Your package would be a generous salary with 25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), overtime, stand-by, and the ability to earn commission on new business that you bring in.
