CDSClear in London is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers responsible for the Clearing Platform, focusing on reliability, scalability and rapid delivery in financial markets infrastructure. You will guide development of market connectivity, trade lifecycle and reporting, partner with Risk and QA, and drive automation and AI tooling to accelerate improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of engineering teams in financial markets infrastructure.
• Experience building Java/Oracle based platforms.
• Strong English communication.
• Experience with DevOps and automation tooling.
• Knowledge of FpML workflows and trade processing is preferred.
• AWS cloud architecture experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage development of CDSClear’s Clearing Platform and lead London-based Engineers.
• Oversee market connectivity, trade registration, lifecycle and reporting components.
• Collaborate with Risk, QA, IT Support and Stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Lead Continuous Improvement across the IT stack and drive production delivery.
• Engage with Stakeholders in Business Transformation, Product and Compliance to design solutions.
• Provide third-line support for Production and Test systems.
