Job summary

Lendable is hiring a recent graduate for a 6-month contract to strengthen daily funding controls within the Payments team. You’ll verify funds with third‑party partners, document discrepancies and help automate rules and checks.

You don't need finance experience; you'll be taught the payments side, be numerate and quick to learn, and act as the last line of defence before money leaves the building.

Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative subject (2:1 or above)
• Strong numeracy and comfort with large volumes of transactional data
• Excellent attention to detail and healthy scepticism
• Proficient with Google Sheets or Excel (lookups, filters, tidy workflows)
• Clear written communication with internal and external teams
• Confident dealing with external partners and handling sensitive data

Responsibilities

• Run daily funding controls and verify partner funding against disbursal records
• Document discrepancies clearly for commercial, operations and risk teams
• Maintain full audit trails of checks and decisions
• Identify trends in partner behaviour and raise early
• Verify partner and payee bank details; re-verify on changes
• Collaborate with Payments Manager to onboard partners and automate checks
