Job summary

Lendable is hiring a recent graduate to join the Payments team on a 6-month contract in the UK. You will help strengthen controls around daily loan funding, perform reconciliation, and support operations and partner indemnity recovery. No finance experience required; numeracy, quick learning, and accuracy are essential.

You’ll gain hands-on fintech exposure, learn payment processes, and contribute to faster, better evidenced operations while being the last line of defence before funds move.

Qualifications

• Degree in a STEM, finance, accounting, economics or quantitative field completed within the last two years.
• Strong numeracy and comfort with large volumes of transactional data.
• Excellent attention to detail with scepticism and documentation skills.
• Confident with Google Sheets or Excel and performing lookups/filters.
• Clear written communication and professional interaction with external partners.
• Comfort handling sensitive data responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Run daily funding controls and verify partner funding before payments are approved.
• Query, elevate and document issues to enable action by teams.
• Maintain audit trails and spot trends in partner behaviour and timing.
• Re-verify bank details and help onboard more partners into controls.
• Support day-to-day payment operations and reconciliation tasks.
• Assist partner indemnity recovery with data validation and reporting.
