Checkout.com in London is seeking a high-impact, fintech operations designer. You will convert complex payment capabilities into scalable, compliant workflows, collaborating with Risk, Compliance, and Merchant teams to establish end-to-end processes.

You will design operating models for new product launches, translate product and regulatory requirements into concrete procedures, and drive governance, metrics, and automated handoffs using AI-enabled tooling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in process design or operational excellence driving transformation in fintech.
• Structured process methodologies (Lean Six Sigma) to solve complex problems.
• Cross-functional work across Risk, Compliance and Merchant servicing.

Responsibilities

• Design operating models: Lead end-to-end design for new product launches across Risk, Compliance, Merchant Operations.
• Operationalise capabilities: Translate product, regulatory, and technical requirements into actionable processes, controls, and handoffs.
• Digital-asset operations: Apply crypto, blockchain, and fintech knowledge to build safe, scalable operations.
• Drive clarity & alignment: Structure ambiguous problems, identify risks, and align cross-functional stakeholders.
• Scale & optimise: Establish governance, metrics, controls, and automated workflows using AI and modern tooling.
