Job summary

Delta Capita is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge financial services clients and software teams. You will elicit, analyse, and translate complex needs into user stories and functional specs for delivery in digital asset and market infrastructure contexts.

You will lead workshops, craft acceptance criteria, support UAT, and train clients on new functionality, ensuring solutions align with business intent and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Fin-Tech, consulting or client-facing roles within financial services.
• Solid understanding of market infrastructure (trading, settlement, custody or tokenisation workflows).
• Proven ability to write high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria and functional specs for Agile teams.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, backlog grooming, sprint planning and cross-functional delivery.
• Technical literacy to engage with developers; understanding APIs and data flows without coding.
• Excellent client relationship skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex data and processes.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Excel and process mapping tools.
• Ability to produce BRDs, process maps and test scripts.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements-gathering sessions with clients and run workshops to elicit and validate needs across digital asset and financial services use cases.
• Translate requirements into well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications for Agile teams.
• Document current-state processes and use cases, validating with clients before sign-off.
• Identify opportunities for future-state operating models, especially around digital asset adoption and tokenised workflows.
• Present specifications to development teams, ensuring understanding and prioritisation in the backlog.
• Act as client-facing voice throughout the development lifecycle, managing scope and alignment.
• Support UAT to ensure functionality meets requirements before client sign-off.
• Assist clients in articulating their requirements as a trusted advisor.
• Deliver training and demonstrations of MACH’s software to clients and staff.
• Identify and resolve blockers, maintaining clear communication with clients and the team.
