Job summary

Delta Capita in London is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Client Delivery Leads, SMEs, developers and testers to refine requirements and support Agile processes.

You will also ensure traceability across the SDLC, liaise with client stakeholders, and drive improvements in requirements management and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role in a technology-driven organisation.
• Strong understanding of software development practices, particularly Agile and Scrum.
• Proficiency in writing technical documentation, including user stories, process flows, and data models.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively across business and technical audiences.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams delivering complex technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Client Delivery Leads, and SMEs to gather and refine detailed business and technical requirements.
• Translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with developers and testers to ensure requirements are well understood and correctly implemented.
• Support backlog refinement and sprint planning by breaking down epics and features into actionable stories.
• Liaise with client stakeholders to capture solution requirements and validate deliverables.
• Support the SDLC lifecycle by ensuring traceability between scope, requirements, and delivered functionality.
• Participate in design authority and change control processes to assess requirement changes and design risks.
• Drive process improvement initiatives around requirements management, documentation, and traceability.
• Act as a subject matter expert on specific components of the DLS platform and technical workflows.
• Familiarity with data modelling and interface specification (e.g. JSON, API specs).
