Job summary

Harmonic Finance, a London-based semiconductor unicorn, is hiring the Head of Finance Operations. You will own the procure-to-pay, order-to-cash and month-end close processes across multiple entities and currencies, leading a new FinOps team with equity on offer.

You’ll design scalable finance workflows, implement ERP and spend tools, and partner with procurement, engineering and supply chain to drive data quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in finance operations, accounting or financial control.
• Hands-on ownership of AP, AR and the close in a high-volume environment.
• Experience designing finance processes or implementing finance systems from the ground up.
• Strong grounding in bookkeeping, reconciliations and controls.
• Multi-entity and multi-currency experience; VAT and R&D tax credits exposure.

Responsibilities

• Own procure-to-pay and order-to-cash end to end, including supplier payments and payroll coordination across entities.
• Run the month-end close: reconciliations, journals and accruals across a multi-entity, multi-currency group.
• Design scalable finance workflows, approval chains and internal controls for high transaction volumes.
• Lead the implementation and optimisation of finance systems, including ERP and AP/spend tools.
• Collaborate with procurement, engineering and supply chain to improve data quality from PO to books.
• Provide clear reporting on actuals, burn, vendor spend and cost centres to Head of Finance.
• Prepare data for audits, VAT/R&D filings and compliance with external advisors.
• Build and lead the FinOps function, starting with a FinOps Analyst.
