Job summary

Harmonic Finance is partnering with a profitable technology business to hire a Finance Manager. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role with a supportive Director of Finance & Operations, offering flexible work and just one day a week in the office.

You will lead month-end, intercompany activity, VAT/tax, payroll, and systems selection as the business scales. The role emphasizes owning projects end to end, driving process improvements with technology, and expanding your commercial finance

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Startup or scale-up experience in a small, hands-on finance team.
• Proven ability to own projects end to end and implement improvements using technology.
• Experience with Xero, Slack or Zapier is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Month end close with external bookkeepers and accountants.
• Intercompany accounting, including reconciliations and group recharge.
• Year end, VAT returns and tax planning with external accountants/advisors.
• Accounts payable end to end, monthly payroll and statutory submissions.
• Select and roll out a new expense management system.
• Improve automation, systems and controls; support people operations.
