Capgemini Invent is seeking a FinOps Consultant to optimise cloud costs and strengthen financial governance across client organisations. You’ll combine cloud advisory expertise with business development to deliver tangible cost efficiencies in AI-enabled workloads.

Based in the UK with offices in London, Manchester or Glasgow, this role embraces hybrid working and flexible assignment locations, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience on FinOps projects and governance models for large or mid-sized organisations.
• Client-facing consulting or advisory experience desirable.
• Experience with major cloud vendors (AWS, Azure, GCP) and FinOps tools.
• Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed organisation and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review cloud usage patterns and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Establish and enforce cloud governance policies and guardrails.
• Provide training on FinOps best practices and promote cost awareness.
• Engage cloud vendors to optimise service delivery and cost.
• Monitor AI impact on FinOps and leverage AI-enabled tooling for forecasting and insights.
