Job summary

James Cropper Advanced Materials is seeking a Finishing Operative to join our manufacturing team. You will pack products safely, perform sampling and quality checks, and record production data to ensure traceability and high standards.

This full-time role operates on a 4-shift rotation (6am–6pm and 6pm–6am). You will contribute to continuous improvement, support new team members, and uphold safety and environmental standards across the production area.

At James Cropper Advanced Materials, we're looking for a Finishing Operative to join our high-performing manufacturing team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring our specialist materials are packed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards before reaching customers around the world.

What you'll be doing

As a Finishing Operative, you'll be responsible for:

• Packing products safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Completing product sampling, testing and quality checks.
• Accurately recording production information and updating company systems.
• Supporting problem-solving activities to improve processes, quality and efficiency.
• Assisting with other manufacturing activities when required, including fibre chopping and sheet cutting.
• Training and supporting new team members.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping, safety and environmental standards.

This is a shift role working 6am-6pm/6pm – 6am on a 4 shift rotation
