Job summary

A leading Tier 1 main contractor has an immediate opening for a Finishing Foreman on a notable hospital project in Bournemouth. The role involves supervising trades personnel and ensuring quality standards while leading internal fit-out works and external areas. Ideal candidates should have high-end project experience and hold relevant certifications such as SSSTS or SMSTS and CSCS. This full-time position offers a competitive rate of £230 to £250 per day over a duration of 7 to 9 months.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-end projects is highly desirable.
• Hands-on knowledge across multiple trade disciplines is required.
• Lead on-site operations and coordinate trades effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Trades Personnel on site.
• Complete all final finishing works on the hospital's internal and external areas.
• Work through snag lists issued by site management.

Finishing Foreman - Hospital Project - Bournemouth

This leading Tier 1 main contractor has an immediate requirement for additional freelance Finishing Foremen to work on a 60m hospital project in Bournemouth, Dorset.

As a Finishing Foreman you will work on site full time and will report to the Site Manager and will oversee the Trades Personnel on site.

The project is a new 4 level hospital building , of modular construction, featuring 110 new beds and improved facilities.

Scope of works:

• Internal Fit Out of wards to include the joinery, partitioning, ceilings, and flooring,
• Hospital Externals.

About You:

• High-end project experience is highly desirable
• Strong, hands-on knowledge across trade disciplines
• SSSTS or SMSTS and CSCS
• Ability to lead on-site, coordinate trades, maintain quality standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operation
• Completing all final finishing works on internal and external areas of the Hospital
• Working through snag lists issued by site management
• Participate in Site office meetings
• Adherence to H&S
