Job summary

Finishing Foreman in Carlisle is sought to support a £5m mixed-use redevelopment project. You will oversee finishing trades, manage snagging and de-snagging, coordinate subcontractors and drive the project through to handover.

This hands-on role requires experience delivering refurbishment or fit-out projects to programme, quality and client expectations. The contract is freelance/contract for 6 months with reporting to the Project Manager.

• Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks
• Attend and contribute to routine site progress meetings
• Report regularly and consistently to the Project Manager

• Identify and mitigate risks that may impact programme, quality or safety
• Maintain accurate quality inspections, snagging records and progress reports

Experience

• Proven track record delivering refurbishment, fit-out and new-build projects valued between £2m-£5m
• Previous experience successfully delivering commercial, leisure, hospitality, heritage or mixed-use developments, with responsibility for managing finishing trades, snagging and handover activities

Key Skills

• Extensive health & safety knowledge
• Competent IT and reporting software skills
• Proven ability to lead and coordinate site teams
• Effective communication skills, verbal and written
• Ability to organise and manage finishing programmes
