Qualifications

• Must be computer literate and have basic English and Numeracy skills.
• FLT Counterbalance and Reach experience is preferred but training will be provided.
• Must possess a strong safety mindset and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Order picking, packing, and stock control.
• Liaise with the Despatch Coordinator and ensure health and safety standards.
• Drive FLT to move goods and cover for Despatch Coordinator as needed.

Job description

We are looking to recruit a Finished Goods Warehouse Operator (Days) at our cable manufacturing site on Wrexham Industrial Estate.

Working on a days roster - Monday to Friday only

• 37 hours per week

• Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.07pm and Friday 8am -3pm

• Christmas shutdown

• 26 days holiday per year plus 8 bank holidays

The Job

All aspects of Warehouse work to include:

• Order picking. Order packing. Locating goods into stores. Stock checks. Stock Control.
• Liaise with Despatch Coordinator by reporting of any issues.
• Cover Despatch Coordinator during holidays or sickness.
• Ensure that H&S awareness is present at all times.
• Housekeeping within the Internal & External Areas around Despatch
• Driving an FLT to move goods.

Qualifications/Experience

• Computer literate
• SAP knowledge preferable but training will be given.
• FLT Counterbalance, Reach and Order picker. Preferred but training will be given.
• Must have a head for Heights.
• Loading and unloading vehicles/trailers.
• Basic English and Numeracy

The Person

• Possess a high level of drive and energy, with a strong safety mindset.
• Self-starter, positive and proactive attitude, prepared to take the initiative and works well under pressure.
• Team worker with good communication skills
• FLT experience preferable but not essential as training will be given.
