Coveris is a leading global manufacturer, creating high performance and technically
engineered packaging solutions. At our Winsford site, we produce polythene film for a range
of established customers across multiple industries including agricultural, industrial, and food
based.

The Role
We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our Warehouse department. Working as
part of a team, the successful candidate will assist in the day-to-day activities of the
Warehouse department.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm on a 1-week
rotating basis. The salary for this role begins at £25,641pa with a paid 30-minute break.

Key responsibilities include:

1. To offload, check quantity and quality of incoming supplies. Ensure the external
   storage of polymer is neat and safely stocked.
2. To ensure the correct storage of pallets and effective pallet distribution.
3. To assist the Stock Controller with polymer rotation.
4. To load and unload machine parts for the maintenance department as required.
5. To pick all finished goods and assemble loads in the designated load area.
6. To be responsible for the sorting of empty pallets into good quality, substandard and
   returnable sets.
7. To empty waste mini bins/skips to the external skips outside following the company
   EMS procedure and policies.
8. To unload vehicles as per Company procedure, ensuring all products are stored in the
   correct designated area and are free from any contamination.
9. Completion of ad-hoc duties to meet the needs of the business, subject to appropriate
   training.
10. Responsible for maintaining standards of Housekeeping and Hygiene.
