The Wild Rabbit in Kingham, part of The Bamford Collection, is seeking a warm, polished Restaurant Host to welcome guests and drive an exceptional dining experience.

As the first point of contact, you will manage reservations, coordinate service flow, and ensure clear communication between front of house, kitchen, and hotel teams. Experience in fine dining and strong guest relations are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a host or front-of-house role, preferably fine dining.
• Immaculate presentation and welcoming manner.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills under pressure.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building with guests.
• Proficient with reservation platforms such as ResDiary.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, attentive first impression for every guest.
• Manage check-ins, seating and guest flow.
• Record preferences and return guest details to personalise service.
• Coordinate reservations and table allocations for smooth service.
• Lead daily briefings and assist FOH during service.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation at the host stand.
• Communicate allergens and special occasions accurately.
