Job summary

Langdale Chase Hotel in Windermere, recently refurbished and reopened in 2023, is recruiting a Chef de Partie to join the opening team. You will support the senior kitchen, drive food standards to a four Rosette level and work across a high-quality, modern menu.

You should bring at least 2 years’ Rosette kitchen experience, ideally with fine dining, Michelin or five-star hotel exposure, and a calm, professional approach to lead your own section.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a 2/3 Rosette kitchen.
• Fine dining or Michelin/Five-star hotel background with modern cookery knowledge.
• Attention to detail with the ability to work calmly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Follow HACCP procedures with the kitchen management team.
• Check orders for freshness and quality.
• Maintain highest standards of hygiene and safety.
• Run an organized, efficient kitchen section.
• Train and uphold SOPs and standards.
• Support development of the kitchen garden and growing cycles.
• Assist other team members across the kitchen.
