At Smart Managed Solutions, we deliver innovative and customer-centric facility management services designed to meet the evolving needs of our clients. We are currently investing in modernising our core systems, including the implementation of EVision, a solution built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform.

We are looking for a Finance Systems Accountant to support the CFO, finance team, and EVision project team during this strategic initiative. This role involves system design, data migration, user training, and ongoing system management, with a focus on data analytics and financial reporting.

Role Overview

The Finance Systems Accountant will play a key role in the delivery and ownership of our new ERP system, leading system design, data migration, and post-implementation support. The role requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the finance workstream for the EVision implementation project.
2. Serve as the primary liaison between the finance team and the EVision project team.
3. Become the internal “super user” and subject matter expert on EVision, providing post-go-live support and optimisation.
4. Oversee data migration, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
5. Collaborate on building a business-wide data analytics platform.
6. Develop and enhance financial reporting tools using platforms like Power BI or Metabase.
7. Design and deliver system training for finance and operational teams.
8. Identify opportunities for process improvements through system enhancements.
9. Support change management and user adoption efforts.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or EVision.
• Hands-on experience with financial reporting and BI tools such as Power BI or Metabase.
• Strong understanding of data structures, financial processes, and systems integration.
• Proven project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communicator capable of translating technical concepts.
• Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in developing training content and delivering end-user training.
• Industry experience in construction, engineering, or service sectors is a plus.
