Job summary

North Oak Recruitment seeks a Financial Services Planning Manager for a Leicester-based role. You will lead a team of IFA professionals, drive performance, and ensure compliant, client-focused outcomes.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent) with experience in investments, pensions and insurance and strong leadership and communication skills. Salary is negotiable up to £65,000 depending on experience, plus benefits, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading and managing teams within financial services.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent; a degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field would be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of financial products and services, including investments, pensions and insurance.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse performance data to improve efficiency, service quality, compliance and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support the adviser team to achieve business and client service objectives.
• Embed clear processes and performance management to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, marketing and product teams to stay compliant and aligned.
• Oversee client service quality, retention and professional standards.
• Recruit, onboard, train and develop financial advisers to build a high-performing team.
• Monitor performance, market trends and client needs to identify opportunities.
• Prepare and present performance, operational and commercial reports with actionable recommendations.
