Job summary

North Oak Recruitment is seeking a Financial Services Planning Manager in the Leicester area. The role leads the adviser team, drives sales performance, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards while delivering client-focused financial solutions.

The successful candidate will be CII Diploma level 4 qualified, likely with a proven track record as a Financial Adviser, and able to manage risk, develop people, and build strong client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading and managing teams within financial services.
• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent; degree in related field advantageous.
• Strong leadership and performance management abilities; coaching and development.
• Excellent understanding of financial products including investments, pensions and insurance.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements in efficiency and profitability.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support the adviser team to achieve business and client service objectives.
• Embed processes, performance management and best practices across the function.
• Collaborate with compliance, operations, marketing and product teams within regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee client service quality, retention and professional, compliant practices.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing development of advisers.
• Monitor performance, workflows and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare and present performance and commercial reports with improvement recommendations.
