About the Role: Citco’s Group Risk Management function develops and implements frameworks for managing risk across different business lines, providing risk management expertise, reporting, and oversight as part of the second line of defence.

We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a keen interest in risk management, particularly financial risk (credit, market, and liquidity risk), to gain further experience.

The person will join a small team focused on identifying, monitoring, reporting, and managing financial risks within the Citco Group, mainly in the Banking Services Division with banks based in the Netherlands, Canada, Cayman Islands, and Curacao.

This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, comfortable with numbers, and looking to develop expertise in risk analysis and quantitative tools using Excel, Access, VBA, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve analytical and reporting tools for Credit, Liquidity, and Market Risk in line with regulatory and business needs.
• Produce reliable, consistent, and concise reports on credit and liquidity risk factors for risk managers and senior management.
• Identify and escalate potential issues to risk managers and business owners.
• Provide risk updates in various governance forums, including Risk, ALCO, and Credit Committees.
• Compile and investigate Key Risks and Early Warning Indicators.
• Support the design, development, implementation, and communication of enterprise-wide risk initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree or qualification in a numerical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Highly numerate with a logical, analytical, and thorough approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Access is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic is desirable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively.
• Interest in modeling impacts from Global Regulatory Developments.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive team player with problem-solving skills.
