Job summary

Mourant is seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join on a 6-month contract in Jersey. You will deliver reliable financial reporting, consolidate group entities, and provide commercially focused insights to drive business performance.

You will partner with senior leaders to support decision making and ensure timely, accurate financial information. You will collaborate with the Financial Controller and Head of Financial Control, Planning and Analysis to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant with accounting experience.
Demonstrable commercial awareness.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and communicate findings.
Confident building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Prepare the Firms' annual consolidated financial statements and the financial statements of individual entities.
Consolidate monthly and annual group entities with clear reporting and commentary on trends.
Prepare monthly management accounts including variance analysis and insights.
Develop management information to support operational and strategic decisions.
Partner with leaders to provide timely, commercially focused financial support.
Utilise financial technology to improve working practices.
Collaborate with the wider Finance team to ensure seamless finance delivery.
Prepare P+L reports, cashflow forecasts and annual budgets with stakeholders.
Support board and audit reporting; complete tax computations and returns.
