Job summary

JJ SEARCH LIMITED is seeking a Financial Planning Operations Manager to shape and lead offshore financial planning operations. You will direct Paraplanning Team Leaders, drive process improvements, and build scalable SOPs across two teams to deliver high-quality support.

You will coach team leaders, manage offshore colleagues, and partner with UK stakeholders to optimize service delivery and performance. Significant experience in Financial Planning operations and SOP implementation is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Financial Planning operations in a management role.
• Proven experience managing managers, Team Leaders or equivalent leadership roles.
• Strong track record of developing, implementing and embedding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Deep understanding of Financial Planning workflows and operational processes.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed or offshore teams is beneficial.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.

Responsibilities

The Role:

The Financial Planning Operations Manager will be given the opportunity to shape how Financial Planning operations are delivered across a growing offshore function.

The Financial Planning Operations Manager will direct the leadership of Paraplanning Team Leaders, influence senior stakeholders, and will have a great influence on the processes and standards you create with this Financial Planning firm.

The Financial Planning Operations Manager will create structure, build scalable operating procedures and help Paraplanning managers in other locations to become stronger team leaders, coaching Team Leaders and driving performance across multiple teams.

Manage two Paraplanning Team Leaders and a team of 13 operational colleagues across two teams, ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery of Financial Planning support activities.

The Financial Planning Operations Manager will be a leadership role with a strong operational excellence focus. The Financial Planning Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and embedding robust Standard Operating Procedures and improving quality frameworks, driving consistency and ensuring teams are equipped to deliver exceptional Financial Planning service.

The Financial Planning Operations Manager will Lead, coach and develop two Team Leaders responsible for 13 team members across two operational teams. Drive a high-performance culture through clear objectives, accountability and regular performance management. Develop, document and continuously improve SOPs across Financial Planning operations. Review and optimise operational workflows to improve efficiency, quality and scalability.

The Financial Planning Operations Manager will create and maintain quality assurance frameworks to ensure consistent standards. Use MI and operational data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities. Partner with UK stakeholders to improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.

The Candidate

Significant experience within Financial Planning operations is essential - within a Management role.
