BWD Search & Selection is partnering with a renowned wealth management business to appoint an experienced Paraplanning Manager who will lead a growing paraplanning function and work closely with advisers on high-net-worth portfolios.

The role focuses on people development, process improvement and contributing to wider business strategy, while staying hands-on with technical financial planning and ensuring high standards of client service.

We are working with a highly regarded, well-established wealth management business that is looking to appoint an experienced Paraplanning Manager to lead and develop its growing paraplanning function.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys developing people, improving processes and contributing to the wider strategy of a business, whilst remaining closely involved in the technical side of financial planning.

The successful candidate will manage a team of around 10 paraplanners, ranging from junior through to senior level, supporting advisers who work with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop a team of paraplanners, providing ongoing support, guidance and mentorship.
• Support the technical and professional development of team members.
• Oversee daily workflow, ensuring work is allocated effectively and completed to a high standard.
• Maintain high standards of technical accuracy, compliance and client service.
• Review and improve paraplanning processes to increase efficiency and consistency across the team.
• Contribute to the wider strategy and development of the paraplanning function.

About You

We are keen to speak with experienced Paraplanning Managers, Team Leaders or Senior Paraplanners who have strong technical knowledge and experience supporting or developing others.

Ideally, you will have:

• A strong background in paraplanning within financial planning or wealth management.
• Experience managing, mentoring or developing paraplanners.
• Excellent technical knowledge of financial planning and advice processes.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage workloads and competing priorities.
• A genuine interest in people development, improving processes and driving positive change.
• Relevant financial planning qualifications, ideally Diploma Level 4 or above.
