Job description

Job Title: IFA Administrator / Receptionist

Salary: Up to £28,000

NJR Recruitment is working with a well-established firm of Independent Financial Advisers and Insurance Brokers that is recruiting for an IFA Administrator / Receptionist. This opportunity has arisen due to internal progression within the company.

The role involves supporting a busy team of Financial Planners to ensure a seamless client experience, as well as providing reception cover two days per week.

Responsibilities:
  1. Process new business, client illustrations, and valuations; schedule client appointments.
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant procedures, including TCF, T&C, and financial crime prevention measures (anti-money laundering, data security, anti-bribery, fraud, and corruption).
  3. Greet clients, check and update their details on the system, and provide refreshments when appropriate.
  4. Answer calls, take detailed messages, and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
  5. Manage incoming and outgoing post, including sorting, scanning, and distribution.
  6. Prepare client files and handle printing and posting of signature documents.
  7. Maintain and input data into the database.

The ideal candidate will have industry-related experience, particularly with pensions and investments, and previous reception or front-of-house experience delivering excellent service to clients and colleagues.
