Title: Finance Director

Location: Birmingham 2/3 days a week

Ref: WP13342

Finatal is supporting aPE-backed Manufacturing (£10m+ T/O), seeking a Finance Director tojoin them following recent investment.

As FinanceDirector you will be number 1 in finance, reporting directly to theCEO. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive and strategicmindset. You will be instrumental in building robust financialprocesses and controls, implementing scalable systems, and deliveringhigh-quality financial insights to drive informed decision-making.Long term the successful candidate will transition in to the CFO role.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of thefinance function, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Overseeing budgets and forecasts
• Establish andrefine financial controls and processes to support a high-growthenvironment.
• Develop and maintain timely, accurate, andinsightful management accounts and reporting.
• Manage externalaudits, liaising with auditors to deliver accurate and timelystatutory accounts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financialregulations and standards.
• Build out the finance function

Requirements

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)with a strong technical foundation.
• Experience implementingand managing finance systems in a growing business.
• Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention todetail.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills,capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
