Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Financial Controller for a manufacturing/engineering business based near Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire. You will lead a small accounts team, oversee payroll, monthly accounts, VAT returns and project financials, reporting to the Financial Director.

The role offers flexitime, 37.5 hours per week and a generous benefits package. The employer is a specialist manufacturer supplying automotive, aerospace and Formula One sectors.

Are you a Financial Controller or similar from a Manufacturing, Engineering or similar industry background looking for a highly responsible, office-based position that can offer engaging and rewarding work managing a small accounts team?

In this role you will be helping to manage the accounts team, supporting the Financial Director. You'll oversee payroll, produce monthly accounts, submit VAT returns and analyse the financial aspects of interesting projects within the manufacturing space. This is a diverse and fast-paced role where no two days will be the same.

This company are a specialist manufacturer of bespoke equipment that supply into the automotive, aerospace and formula one industries. They have caved out a profitable niche, and supply globally from a UK headquarters.
