Job summary

ICAEW in London is recruiting a Financial Controller to lead the finance team, owning financial reporting, controls and the day-to-day running of the function.

You will manage a team of four, partner with senior finance leadership and help the business scale its finance operations as it grows.

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong reporting and controllership experience is required; retail or multi-site experience is advantageous.

A high-growth retail group is looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join its London finance team. This is a key leadership role within the business, managing a team of four and taking ownership of financial reporting, controls and the day-to-day running of the finance function. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will play an important role in ensuring the finance function continues to develop and scale alongside the growth of the wider business.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong financial reporting and controllership experience. You'll have proven team management experience and be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Experience within retail, consumer or another multi-site environment would be advantageous, alongside a track record of improving processes and controls within a growing business.

What you’ll get in return
