Job summary

Executive Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Financial Controller for a market-leading services group in London. The role is permanent, offering £70,000–£80,000 plus benefits, with hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days remote from Park Royal, NW10.

You will lead month-end close, manage a team of 6, oversee policy and process controls, and partner with the FD on planning, risk and stakeholder reporting. ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA).
• Experience in a medium-sized business in a similar role.
• Strong leadership and financial controls experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage a team of 6 staff.
• Control and oversight on finance policies and processes.
• Oversee balance sheet integrity, reconciliations, accruals and journals.
• Produce and review financial reports for senior leadership team.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling activity.
• Manage VAT, pensions, fixed assets and statutory processes.
• Maintain financial policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Manage Audit and Compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with FD on financial planning and risk.
• Report to internal & external stakeholders as required.

The role of Financial Controller is permanent and offers a salary between £70,000 and £80,000 plus benefits. the role is based in Park Royal, London, NW10 and offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 WFH.
