Job summary

P.Louise is one of the fastest growing beauty brands in the UK, selling across Shopify, TikTok Shop, Boots wholesale and retail sites. We need a Financial Controller who owns end-to-end management information and delivers fast, accurate closes with clear margin insight to act on.

The role covers MI, margin and profitability, cross-functional process, month-end close, statutory reporting and system controls. Manchester-based with a dynamic, entrepreneurial culture.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong technical grounding.
• Proven ownership of management information in a fast moving, multi channel business.
• Genuine strength in margin and profitability analysis, comfortable working below gross margin into cost to serve.
• Experience in ecommerce, DTC or a multi channel consumer business is strongly preferred, ideally with exposure to Shopify or marketplace trading.
• Multi entity experience, ideally including international entities and foreign currency.
• Advanced Excel, with the confidence to work directly with large data sets.
• Experience of managing and developing a finance team.

Responsibilities

• Own management information end to end: monthly management accounts, board packs, and channel/country reporting across all entities.
• Own the reporting calendar with timely, consistent outputs and a single version of the truth.
• Ensure sources reconcile to Shopify, TikTok Shop, Triple Whale, WMS and Xero, with clear variance explanations.
• Turn reports into actionable insights with narrative on changes, causes and actions.
• Partner with Ecommerce, Merchandising and Retail on daily/weekly trade reporting and profitability discussions.
• Own the P&L forecasting and rolling reforecast, explaining variances clearly.
