Levy Merchandising in Manchester is seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead the month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting. You will own robust financial controls, deliver timely reporting, and provide strategic financial insight to support growth across B2C and B2B channels.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ICAEW) with experience in financial control and reporting.
• Experience in e-commerce or online trading environments is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close and management accounts with journals, reconciliations and analysis.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning with senior leaders.
• Provide actionable financial insight and challenge to drive profitable growth.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital and liquidity management.
• Manage purchase/sales ledgers and supplier reconciliations with strong controls.
• Oversee VAT and other statutory requirements, including EU VAT compliance.
• Lead, coach and develop finance team members.
