Job summary

Sierra CP Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to manage day-to-day financial operations from their Worcester base. The role covers monthly management accounts, VAT returns, cash flow forecasting, credit control, payroll and pension administration.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing or engineering environments, be proficient with MRP, stock and WIP calculations, and with Sage Line 50 and Excel. UK work status and CIMA are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a financial controller role within engineering/manufacturing is essential.
• Proven ability to produce monthly management accounts and VAT returns.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, stock and WIP calculations; proficient in Excel and Sage 50.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts.

• Forecast and manage cash flow.
• Oversee payroll, PAYE and company pension schemes.

The Role:

Are you self-motivated individual who works well under pressure? Are you looking for a new challenging and rewarding role? At Sierra CP Engineering Ltd we have fantastic opportunity for experienced Financial Controller to join our Team.

As Financial Controller you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management including statutory compliance.

You will produce monthly management accounts, produce and submit quarterly VAT returns, monthly financial project analysis and review of aftersales.

You will oversee credit control and be responsible for cash flow forecasting and management.

Your duties will also include payroll, PAYE preparation and Company pension schemes and compliance preparation.

You will support Finance Director with adhoc requests and general day to day running of the company, as well as support annual audits and tax compliance.

This role is a key component to our process, and we are looking for committed, enthusiastic employee. Ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of MRP systems and Stock and WIP calculations and a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Sage Line 50 are essential.

Schedule:

• 37.5 hours a week with early finish on Friday.
