Job summary

Trinity House Group in Rugby is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to drive month-end close, financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting. You will lead a small finance team and work with the Finance Director on operational projects and transformation initiatives.

The role requires a qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels in a fast-paced environment. A discretionary bonus and market-leading benefits are included.

Job description

Trinity House Group are exclusively partnering with a market leading SME manufacturing business, to recruit a Financial Controller, based in Rugby. We are looking for a hands-on finance professional to join the business, to support with various operational projects and manage a small finance team.

Reporting into the Finance Director, you will complete monthly management accounts and collaborate with the wider finance team to deliver accurate analysis and management information. The business is going through a period of transformation, and as such we require a candidate who brings confidence and experience to the role. You will also complete the financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting, providing commentary and insights.

The Duties

• Responsible for completing month end management accounts.
• Preparation and submission of month and year end accounts.
• Develop internal controls, KPI reporting and systems.
• Provide financial information and oversee the day to day finance activities.
• Management of a team of 2 in finance.
