Job summary

Trinity House Group are partnering with a high growth business in Stafford to appoint a Financial Controller. You will own the month end and year end close, deliver high quality management accounts and investor reporting to tight deadlines, and lead a capable finance team.

You'll strengthen controls and processes as the business scales, manage the statutory audit, work with external advisers on tax and compliance, and support the board on cash management and covenant reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant accreditation required.
• Finance experience in high growth/PE-backed environments preferred.
• Able to engage senior stakeholders and investors.

The business has strong investor backing and a clear growth agenda. You’ll lead the financial control environment and make sure the numbers are accurate, timely and trusted by both the leadership team and investors.

About you

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong financial control background, ideally gained in a PE backed, high growth or fast paced environment.
• Comfortable working at pace, with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders and investors.
• Hands on and pragmatic, with a genuine appetite to improve how things are done.
• A leader who builds trust and brings people with them.
