Job summary

The CFO HQ in Rotherham is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to own the finance function, deliver monthly management accounts and provide strategic financial input. The role combines day-to-day accounting with management reporting, cash flow forecasting and board-ready packs in a busy SME environment.

You will oversee transactional finance, support senior stakeholders and drive process improvements, with a hybrid working pattern (4 days in the office, 1 day at home).

Qualifications

• Experience as Financial Controller or Finance Manager in a hands-on SME environment.
• Proven ability to produce management accounts and board packs.
• Strong Excel and accounting software experience.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day accounting operations and processes.
