Job summary

CV Screen is recruiting a Financial Controller for a growing manufacturer based in East Yorkshire. This office-based role pays up to £70,000 and sits on the Senior Management Team alongside the Managing Director. You will shape the finance function, systems and reporting to support the next growth phase.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with SME manufacturing exposure, strong stock accounting experience and advanced Excel skills. Office-based position in East Yorkshire.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with FC experience or a Senior Finance Manager ready to step up.
• Manufacturing, distribution or wholesale background with strong stock accounting experience (essential), ideally SME
• Advanced Excel skills, plus experience of an MRP or ERP implementation from a finance perspective

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, producing monthly management accounts and insight on costs, margins and variances
• Own cash flow, working capital, treasury, and the annual budget and forecast
• Oversee payroll, ledgers, credit control and banking, and act as the main contact for auditors, banks, insurers and HMRC
• Work with production and purchasing to strengthen stock control, costing and reporting
• Improve financial systems, processes and controls, and support key investment decisions

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a Financial Controller for a growing manufacturer, based in East Yorkshire. This office-based role pays up to £70,000. You will lead a small finance team and sit on the Senior Management Team alongside the Managing Director. It's a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the whole finance function. You will shape the systems, controls and reporting behind the business's next stage of growth.

Duties & Responsibilities
