Job summary

CV Screen Ltd. is recruiting a Financial Controller for a growing manufacturer based in East Yorkshire. This office-based role pays up to £70,000 with benefits, and you will lead a small finance team and sit on the Senior Management Team. You will shape systems, controls and reporting to support growth.

You will own the finance function, drive monthly accounts, cash flow, budgeting and forecasting, and interact with auditors, banks and HMRC. A manufacturing backdrop and ERP experience are key.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with Financial Controller experience or Senior Finance Manager ready to step up.
• Manufacturing/wholesale background with strong stock accounting experience (essential).
• Advanced Excel and experience with an MRP/ERP system from a finance perspective.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, producing monthly management accounts and insight on costs, margins and variances.
• Own cash flow, working capital, treasury, and the annual budget and forecast.
• Oversee payroll, ledgers, credit control and banking, and act as the main contact for auditors, banks, insurers and HMRC.

• Improve financial systems, processes and controls, and support key investment decisions.

CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting a Financial Controller for a growing manufacturer, based in East Yorkshire. This office-based role pays up to £70,000. You will lead a small finance team and sit on the Senior Management Team alongside the Managing Director. It's a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of the whole finance function. You will shape the systems, controls and reporting behind the business's next stage of growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the finance function, producing monthly management accounts and insight on costs, margins and variances
• Own cash flow, working capital, treasury, and the annual budget and forecast

What Experience is Required

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with Financial Controller experience, or a Senior Finance Manager ready to step up
• A manufacturing, distribution or wholesale background with strong stock accounting experience (essential), ideally gained in an SME
• Advanced Excel skills, plus experience of an MRP or ERP implementation from a finance perspective

Salary & Benefits

Salary up to £70,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The role comes with a seat on the Senior Management Team, visibility across the whole business and real scope to influence systems, processes and performance.

Location

Office based in East Yorkshire, within easy reach of York, Market Weighton, Selby, Howden, Driffield and Beverley.
