Job summary

Broster Buchanan is seeking three Interim Financial Controllers for a Leicester-based, hybrid role on a 3-month contract. The position focuses on complex financial reporting, IFRS in a group environment, and year-end delivery.

You'll work within a private equity-backed finance team, handling group consolidation, statutory reporting, and related controls, while collaborating with the Finance Director during the December year-end and regulatory submissions.

Interim Financial Controller - Group Reporting & Year End

Leicester, Hybrid working (2 days office, 3 days from home)

Inside IR35 via Umbrella

£450 - £490pd (Umbrella rate)

Are you an experienced Financial Controller who enjoys getting stuck into complex financial reporting, technical accounting and delivering a challenging year-end?

We're looking for three Interim Financial Controllers to join a successful, private equity-backed financial services organisation for an exciting, business-critical 3-month assignment.

Leicester city centre - hybrid working (2 days per week in the office)

3-month contract

Inside IR35

37 hours per week

What's the opportunity?

You'll be joining a dedicated and high-performing finance team at a pivotal point in its reporting calendar, working closely with the Finance Director - Financial Reporting to support delivery of the December year-end.

These are hands-on, technically focused roles where you'll take ownership of specific workstreams and make an immediate contribution to a busy year-end programme.

You'll get involved in a varied mix of activities, including:

• Group consolidation and statutory reporting
• Acquisition and investment accounting
• Consolidated cash flow and going concern assessments
• Balance sheet reviews and substantiation
• IFRS reporting, including IFRS 16
• Impairment assessments and technical accounting
• Financial controls, reconciliations and year-end adjustments
• Regulatory and statutory submissions

Who are we looking for?

Experienced Financial Controllers Or Senior Financial Reporting Professionals Who

• Have strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge.
• Have experience of group reporting, consolidation and statutory year-end.
• Are comfortable working through complex accounting matters.
• Can quickly get up to speed, take ownership of deliverables and hit the ground running.
• Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a focused finance team.

Experience within financial services or a complex, regulated group environment would be particularly valuable.
