Job summary

Broster Buchanan is seeking three Interim Financial Controllers for a Leicester-based, hybrid role on a 3-month contract. The position focuses on complex financial reporting, IFRS in a group environment, and year-end delivery.

You'll work within a private equity-backed finance team, handling group consolidation, statutory reporting, and related controls, while collaborating with the Finance Director during the December year-end and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Strong IFRS knowledge and technical accounting skills.
• Experience in group reporting, consolidation and statutory year-end.
• Experience in financial services or a complex regulated group is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Group consolidation and statutory reporting.
• Acquisition and investment accounting.
• Consolidated cash flow and going concern assessments.
• Balance sheet reviews and substantiation.
• IFRS reporting, including IFRS 16.
• Impairment assessments and technical accounting.
• Financial controls, reconciliations and year-end adjustments.
• Regulatory and statutory submissions.
