Job Summary:

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the consultancy, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, adherence to regulatory requirements, and the implementation of financial strategies to support the firm's growth. Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with department heads.
• Monitor and report on budget variances and provide financial forecasts.
• Implement financial planning processes to support strategic objectives.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

• Maintain and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and manage the audit process.

Financial Operations:

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Manage cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
• Optimise financial processes and systems for efficiency.

Strategic Financial Management:

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of long-term financial strategies.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and financial risks.

Client Engagement:

Education and Experience:

• Qualified, CIMA, ACA, ACCA
