Job summary

Promethean in the UK offers a Finance Apprenticeship covering UK and International regions. You will join the accounting team to prepare various company and group financial reports and ensure records are accurate through journal entries and reconciliations.

The Finance Apprentice role covers the UK and International regions. They are part of the accounting team which prepares various accounting entries and reconciliations to ensure the accounting records are accurate. The role involves assisting with the preparation of various company and group financial reports in a timely manner. It also requires the following of relevant accounting principles and guidelines in order to maintain Promethean’s financial records, and a knowledge of the accounting system to ensure the correct recording of transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Post journal entries (both manually and uploads)
• Assist with the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation files.
• Ensure the daily maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Participate in the audit process as required.
• Assist with preparation of data for VAT and tax reporting, as requested by the tax team

Skills & Experience:

• Attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Good excel/IT skills
• Strong Communication skills – both verbally and written
• GCSE grade 4 or above in both Math and English
• Studied a relevant or related subject at College
