Job summary

Promethean is recruiting a Finance Apprentice to support UK and international accounting activities. You will work with the accounting team to post journal entries, reconcile balances, and maintain accurate records for monthly reporting.

The role involves involvement in audit support and VAT data preparation, with GCSEs in Maths and English and a related college subject. Strong Excel and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Math and English at grade 4 or above.
• Studied a relevant or related subject at College.
• Proficient with Excel and basic IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Post journal entries (manual and uploads).
• Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate daily financial records.
• Assist with audit processes as required.
• Prepare data for VAT and tax reporting as requested.
