Promethean, a global edtech leader, invites applications for a Finance Apprentice role covering the UK and international regions. You will join the accounting team to support journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting to ensure accurate records.

Ideal candidates have GCSEs in Maths and English, an interest in accounting, and good Excel/IT skills. The role offers exposure to VAT and tax reporting, training opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Post journal entries and assist with monthly tasks.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
• Assist with data for VAT and tax reporting.
• Support audit processes as required.
• Prepare data for company and group reporting.

Responsibilities

• Post journal entries (both manually and uploads).
• Assist with the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliation files.
• Ensure the daily maintenance of accurate financial records.
• Participate in the audit process as required.
• Assist with preparation of data for VAT and tax reporting, as requested by the tax team
