Job description

Talent Partner @ Inspired Thinking Group (ITG, Storyteq, Deployteq & ReviewStudio)

The Financial Analyst - HR will be responsible for providing detailed financial analysis and support to the HR department, assisting in the management of HR budgets, forecasting labour costs, and analysing HR-related financial data to support decision-making processes across the business. This role requires a blend of financial acumen and an understanding of HR processes, ensuring that our HR strategies are aligned with our financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast labour costs, benefits expenses, and HR-related investments, aligning them with the company's financial plans and budgets
  • Analyse HR financial data, identifying trends and providing insights to support strategic decision-making and improve HR efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Support the development and implementation of financial best practices within the HR department, enhancing processes for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Participate in compensation and benefits planning, providing financial analysis to ensure competitive and cost-effective packages that also align with our People First approach
  • Prepare regular board and ad-hoc financial reports for HR and senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and insights related to HR performance
  • Assist in the financial evaluation of HR projects and initiatives, conducting cost-benefit analyses to assess their potential impact on the organisation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial analysis role, with prior experience in HR finance preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and analysis
  • Excellent knowledge of systems in general, with experience with Finance and HR systems (as well as BI experience) being a plus
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
