Job summary

Addington Ball Recruitment Ltd seeks a Financial Accounting Manager for a regional accountancy practice. You will be the go-to advisor for a varied client portfolio, delivering financial statements, supporting VAT and tax work, and guiding junior staff in a collaborative, long-term culture where your voice is heard.

Fully qualified ACCA/ACA/ICAEW or QBE with practice experience considered; flexible hybrid working from home.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACCA or ACA / ICAEW, or QBE with proven practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing and supporting your own portfolio of clients in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Reviewing and finalising accounts, VAT returns, tax computations and bookkeeping
• Building strong client relationships, adding value and developing an understanding of their needs
• Training and development of juniors, providing feedback and guidance where necessary
