Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant to join our Finance team at Silverstone. You will own IFRS 16 lease accounting, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support month-end close and external audits.

The role requires CCAB-qualified accounting and strong technical knowledge, with a focus on accuracy, controls, and timely reporting within a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with CCAB qualification and professional registration.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Strong IFRS 16 and FRS 102 knowledge.
• Attention to detail and audit readiness.
• Excellent communication with auditors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations across entities.
• Own end-to-end lease accounting under IFRS 16.
• Prepare month-end accruals and prepayments.
• Assist external auditors with schedules and reconciliations.
• Identify process improvements and control enhancements.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Review operating expenditure for potential lease capitalisation under IFRS 16.
• Provide commentary on significant balance sheet movements.
