Trial Balance Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Financial Accountant to strengthen its finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage a broad range of accounting duties, including reconciliations, cash flow forecasting and VAT returns, while supporting the production of management accounts. You will have at least four years of experience and a UK accounting qualification or QBE, with strong proficiency in Xero/QuickBooks and Excel.

Qualifikationen

• At least four years' experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
• AAT qualification or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
• Experience with financial accounting, reconciliations and controls.

Aufgaben

• Maintain accurate financial records and support the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Complete weekly bank reconciliations and update cash flow statements and forecasts.
• Calculate and post accruals and prepayments, maintain the fixed asset register and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support revenue recognition calculations and prepare quarterly VAT returns.
• Collaborate with operational colleagues to ensure data accuracy in the project management system.
• Liaise with suppliers and support sales/purchase ledger activities as needed.
• Contribute to improvements in financial controls, systems and processes.
